Linda Lawrence McClellan, 71, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at VNA Hospice House.

She was born April 23, 1939 in Bronxville, New York and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 4 years, coming from White House, New Jersey.

Mrs. McClellan attended Christ Church Vero Beach, was a member of the Vero Beach Duplicate Bridge Club and Quail Valley River Club of Vero Beach.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Griffin McClellan of Vero Beach; daughters, Elaine Niemann of Frenchtown, NJ, Leigh Weed of Fairfax, VA and Linda Lane of Bolton, Mass; son, Mike McClellan of Hackettstown, NJ; sisters, Mary Clifford of Mount Kisco, NY, Hope Cole of Massachusetts and 7 grandchildren.

A memorial services will be held at a later date in New York.

Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach. An online guest book may be signed at www.lowtherfuneralhome.com.
