Edward Gustuv Coupanger, 48, of Pompano Beach passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Ed will always be remembered for his “presence”. He was always there. Although he graduated from Ft. Lauderdale High School, his true alma mater was Manor Lanes. We have been blessed with his presence since his birth. He was a great junior bowler, advanced as a league bowler, bowled in numerous national tournaments and ultimately was the general manager of Manor Lanes for the past 13 years where he met his wife, Tammy. His accomplishments include nine “perfect” games and an amazing “834” series. Ed is survived by his wife, Tammy; son, Jerry of Atlanta; mother, Sandy; uncles, Ron and Marie Becker and David “Butch” Becker, and their families, all of Clermont, FL; many cousins, mother-in-law, Trudy Wilson, step-children, John, Kayla and Amanda, and four step-grandsons. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24th, at 1 pm, with a benefit fundraiser, following the service from 2 to 6 pm, at Manor Lanes, 1517 NE 26 St, Wilton Manors, FL. 954-566-7457
