Relationship: Friend

I knew your Mother. She was a friend to my mother, who passed away suddently just a few months ago too. My mother was Gail Rosenfeld. We met your Mother in Charlotte, when she was renovating her house on Kingston Avenue. My mother lived across the street, and I was in college at the time. We knew Dave too, because he was busy helping your Mom. So sad to hear they are no longer with us. Your Mother was kind and strong and lovely in every way. I always remember her fondly, and will pray that she is in comfort up above, maybe having a giggle with my Mother. I live in Coral Springs now with my husband and four children, and I rarely read the obituaries. Something made me look on Friday, and that's when I saw your Mother's photo...I wish you all comfort at this time. Heidi Stell (754) 368-7701

Stella and I were the only two women in a department of 105 men. She worked with Public Works Utilities'Kenny Buehn and I worked for Pete Keivit at PW Maintenance. She wsa a lady through and through, held herself with pride and was always courteous to others. I thought of her often since we parted jobs, and will remember her as a woman men treated like a lady -- for she was one. Eileen Brown
