A tear is shed in heaven from one of his oldest friends in Vero Beach, Shirley Burnett who has always had the highest respect and friendship for Johnny. Unfortunately, she too has passed away back on July 2,2003, and as her daughter, I wanted to send the family my prayers and condolences. My mother has known Johnny since he moved here from VA. I remember him from childhood, and feel a sense of loss at his passing, and pray for his dear family, he is such a good man.

I just wanted to say that I wish I could be there to say goodbye and give my love and support to Theresa and Eric and all those who love him. I wish peace on all who grieve and joy in knowing he is smiling on us with that crooked smile and a beer in hand. I love you all and know that I am there in spirit with you and so is Johnny.
